Ingredients:
Apple Mix:
- 2 Apples peeled and diced
- 45g sugar
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
Cake Mix:
- 360g Flour
- 200g Sugar
- 4 Tsp Baking powder
- 300ml Whole milk
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 2 Large eggs beaten
- 110g Melted butter
Cinnamon swirl:
- 120g Butter melted
- 150g Brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp cinnamon
Glaze:
- 200g Icing sugar
- 40ml Milk
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 170C
- Mix apples sugar and cinnamon and set aside
- Combine all the cake mix ingredients and add the mixed apple mixture and pour into a greased 8×10″ pan
- Mix the Cinnamon swirl mix and drop by spoonful onto the top of the cake mix
- Using a knife, swirl the cinnamon mixture through the cake
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. Use a knife to check doneness
- Once cooked remove from the oven and let cool a few minutes before adding the glaze.
- Mix the icing sugar and milk and pour over the cooling cake.
