
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl add flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt, sift together.
- Whisk together milk and melted butter and mix into flour mixture until combined.
- Drop batter onto a greased cookie sheet, I used 1/3 cup of batter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12-14 minutes or until a light golden brown.
- Best if served immediately or great to serve later with breakfast gravy.
