Decided to make biscuits and gravy the other day so the hunt was on for a good biscuit recipe. After a little Googling I found a couple recipes that I combined to make these delicious biscuits.
Mix all the dry ingredients, including the butter and shredded cheddar.

Add the milk and stir to combine. It should still be fairly tacky.

Spoon onto a prepared sheet pan. No need to leave a lot of space between each biscuit as they do not spread.

Bake at 450ºF for 12-15 minutes or until tops are golden brown.

This recipe can be easily adapted for any type of fresh or dried herbs you have available or you can omit the spices and herbs and up the sugar by a tablespoon and have sweet biscuits for afternoon tea!
